Avent - Making Life More Easier

I seriously don't have any idea how to start singing enough praise about this breast pump, so beware this is a long one!

I have to be frank; I bought this on a whim due to the fact I was planning to buy the Medela Pump in Style Advanced. The sole reason I didn't was because the salesgirl at Babies R Us informed me this was a far greater pump for a more affordable price. I had to agree!

The one thing that made me worried regarding this investment was the fact that with my first child I made use of the manual Avent and had many distressing experiences. What I mean is, I actually would cry each time I had to pump. I would take a seat for the task all prepared and would get 3-4 oz out of both breasts put together, but it took an hour. I definitely loathed pumping and got an upset stomach just thinking about it. For that reason, I wasn't really sure that this pump would have sufficient "juice" in it to do the trick.

Well, let me tell you, THIS PUMP IS Incredible! The day I got home from the hospital with our daughter I certainly had to pump. I was so engorged I thought I might explode. My husband sat with our daughter and watched in sheer amazement as I pumped 4 oz out of my left breast in 5 minutes flat. And let me further notify you, it was a darn good thing he was there because I would have overflowed the bottle had he not shouted a cry of caution. I couldn't believe it, I actually thought that this wonderful pumping experience must have been a fluke. But it wasn’t! The following day exactly the same thing, and every day that I have pumped after happen to be wondrous, nearly overflowing experiences. I am very pleased to say that I have been able to develop a supply already in my freezer of breast milk in just one month. Something I was never able to do with our first child.

I am so very happy I bought this pump and am promoting it to all of my breast feeding friends. I hope this aids people out there choosing what pump to buy because I really have gone to a pumping horror story with my first child and this time I'm overflowing with ease!
